Camden's First Baseball- A Hit!

Camden caught many-a-ball. Of course, he is a natural (little biased here). Mama and Val took charge in the dug-out. That was an experience I will never forget. I think the boys now know what the dug-out rules are.....and still like me!

Brayden's Birthday Party?

What fun! While Nonie and Grandpapa took Brayden and Camden to the bowling alley, Mama and Papa went to the Hidden House to celebrate a co-worker's huge accomplishment of reaching tenure the Greek-way. (Linda is behind the belly dancer in the pink boa and tiara. Those Library folks! Such party animals.)

Welcome to our new family members!

A warm welcome to Ming-Ming and Rosebud. Ming-Ming is Camden's little girl and Rosebud is Brayden's little girl. The two little hamsters live a busy life during the night, tearing up toilet paper rolls and making a huge bed out of the roll and tissue in their wheel. Then they pack their wheel full of food and.....run.....all night long. They love it and so do we.

Washington invades Sacramento!

We just learned that the WSU cougers are about to kick off "March Madness" with the first of the tournament basketball games to be played at Arco Arena in Sacramento. We are not basketball fans so we learned of this while watching the noon news today when they showed us the arena parking lot full of red shirts and "Go Cougs" signs. They went on to say that quite a few WSU fans have taken over the city! We didn't see you in the crowd (grin) so we assume you are holding down the fort with the rest of the fans who stayed home. It took up a lot of the news time! We will put our red shirts on for the rest of the day and add our "Go Cougs". Let us know if they win!

Happy Shamrock Birthday Genabobeena! Gena ran in the Shamrock run today....and she made it up the hill.....BOTH WAYS! Yeah, SHE DID IT! What an incredible woman and friend. Always good for a few dozen laughs. She will kill me for posting this picture, but I had to post the most recent picture and this was it! (Our jaunt to Cooper Spur in January with "The Gang".)

She was completely surprised when she walked into TommyO's for her Hawaiian breakfast with the girls this morning. Lots of laughter, turning heads, flowers, tons of carbs, and friends. We love ya girl!

We will miss you "Hunt"

Our sweet buddy, Hunter, passed away this week. He almost made it to his 13th birthday with his parents Gene and Trish (Grandpapa and Nonie). They are in our thoughts during this time of loss. The boys both realized that he was with Haley. Both"pups" are in Heaven with several of our other pet friends having a blast.

Hunter was always a very calm and patient friend of the boys. No one ever had to fret over Hunter and the boys being together. I guess you could say he was a wonderful Grandpa to his boys. We will miss you "Hunt".
